Hydrophilic cleansers, serums, botanicals, and scrubs are products used during our facials to achieve firm, even-toned, glowing more youthful skin. While you do receive a relaxing massage during a facial, that is certainly not the only benefit!

The NUMBER ONE question we are asked by people everywhere (including estheticians) is, “If you could tell me in one word the one thing to do to prevent aging, what would it be?” Our answer is ALWAYS, “Sunscreen.” We cannot emphasize it enough! Rain, sunshine or snow, you should always use sunscreen during the day. The suns aging rays are always present. We always recommend a 30 SPF and when out in the direct daylight, reapply every hour or two. Keep in mind, one can get a more intense sunburn from water or snow reflections than just sun alone. Save yourself from aging! When you come in, ask about our Daily Protect. We swear by it, and we have an oil free option.

That’s awesome, what took you so long? ;) Facials take about 1 hour and 45 minutes for your first time to accommodate time for consultation. If you are coming glammed up and with your hair just done, please note, we’re going to mess it up! During a facial, your hairline will get wet.

A Customized Facial means we will decide on your treatment based on your skin type and condition. We will also determine the best products to use. We cleanse your skin according its type and treat for its condition. Tuel is specially formulated for all skin types and will create and maintain gorgeous, healthy skin. You will be amazed!

That great thing about Tuel is that it does not matter what color you are – purple, blue, yellow or red! Facials cleanse the skin according to type and treat for the condition.

Absolutely. With your hormones going crazy, your skin probably is as well. As the baby grows (and you grow more uncomfortable;)), we’ll adjust the head of the bed so that you are not lying flat on your back for an extended period.

Consider a peel serious skincare designed to reveal radiant skin. We have three peels, an Enzyme peel (good for even the most sensitive skin), a Glycolic Peel and a Salicylic/Lactic Acid Peel.

The Gylcolic Peel is perfectly balanced with Alpha Hydroxy Acid to refine the skin’s surface and visibly promote cell-turnover. Glycolic Peel treatments can be used as a one-time boost for skin in need of extra exfoliation, or for serious age prevention, in a series of 6 treatments. You can keep the glow at home with a buffered gylcolic.

The Salicylic/Lactic Acid Peel is made with 20% Salicylic Acid and 4.4% Lactic Acid. This aggressive peel creates rapid results for you in just one treatment. Using a potent combination of chemical exfoliants, it dissolves the keratinized layer, removes dead skin, and brings new healthy skin to the surface. Diminishes fine lines and wrinkles, lighten and brighten hyperpigmentation, reduce acne scarring, and improve tone, texture and overall appearance.

Peel Key Ingredients
Enzyme: Papain, Bromelain, Kaolin – absorbs oil, astringent
Glyco Peel: Glycolic Acid – highly active exfoliant, tones, tightens, brightens, stimulates collagen
Salicylic/Lactic Peel: Salicylic Acid – BHA, clears pores, exfoliates, Lactic Acid – AHA, exfoliates, reduces hyperpigmentation, brightens, Licorice – anti-inflammatory, healing, soothes

Everyone reacts differently but the most amazing (and most common) thing about receiving a facial is that you leave the spa glowing, brighter and with refined skin – think of how you look after leaving the salon post blowout. However, if we are treating acne, then with extractions there could be some redness. During that treatment, we use a certified organic soothing mask that will reduce redness and puffiness within 5 minutes.

Facial frequency depends on the condition of your skin and what your skin goals are. It could be anywhere from once a month to once a week. Also, it’s important to maintain your at-home skin care regime. The best results come about when we work together on your skin care goals and needs. We can’t wash your face everyday for you, so get in that bathroom, nourish your skin and let us maintain it!

You sure can. Some people love that post facial glow and do not feel the need to but your skin will continue to glow even if you apply makeup post facial.
