Microblading

Our microblading services are performed exclusively by our registered nurse for precision, safety, and natural-looking results. Because this treatment is highly customized, online booking isn’t available — a consultation is required. Please call 850-631-1868 to schedule.

Consultation Overview (Before Your Brow Tattoo)

All microblading procedures begin with a separate consultation, scheduled on a different day than your tattoo service. This gives you the time and space to understand the process fully and decide confidently. During your consult, we’ll walk you through what microblading is, discuss shape and size possibilities, review pre-care and aftercare, and explore color options that fit your natural tones and preferences.

Please arrive makeup-free, but feel free to fill in your brows the way you normally do and bring the powders or pencils you use at home. This helps us understand your desired shape and shade. (Mascara and filled-in brows are fine — but no foundation, powder, or eyeshadow.)

Our goal is simple: to give you the best, most flattering, long-lasting results possible. That’s why we require a pre-consultation and do not offer same-day microblading appointments — it’s a long-term commitment, and we take it seriously.

Deposits & Policies
A $25 consultation deposit is required and is refunded or applied to your first procedure at your appointment. We have a strict one-week cancellation policy; cancellations within that window will forfeit the $25.

For those proceeding with microblading, a $100 procedure deposit is also required. If rescheduling occurs within one week of the appointment, both the $100 procedure deposit and the $25 consultation deposit are forfeited.

Thank you so much for choosing BBW & More — we genuinely appreciate your trust.

How to Prepare + Aftercare

To get the best results, your brow area must be healthy, calm, and irritation-free. These steps help minimize bleeding and ensure the pigment deposits cleanly for beautiful, long-lasting results. Follow these guidelines to prepare your skin for your appointment:

One Week Before:
— No picking, tweezing, waxing, or electrolysis.
— Avoid fish oil or Vitamin E supplements (they thin the blood).

Two Weeks Before:
— No tanning or sunburn.
— No facials, chemical peels, or resurfacing treatments.

Three Weeks Before:
— No Botox in the brow/forehead area.

One Month Before:
— Pause Vitamin A/retinol and retinoid products.

Three Days Before:
— Don’t wax or tint your brows.

Day Of Your Appointment:
— No working out.
— No coffee.
— No alcohol for 24–48 hours prior.
— Avoid aspirin or ibuprofen (they thin the blood) — Tylenol only if needed.

Contraindications to Microblading

Who is not a candidate?
Microblading requires healthy, strong, calm skin to heal well. Certain skin conditions, medications, or health factors can prevent good results — or make the procedure unsafe. If any of the following apply, microblading may not be recommended:

Not Eligible:

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Under 23 years old
  • Open wounds, sores, or healing issues in the brow area
  • Currently on Accutane (or within the last 6–12 months)
  • Undergoing chemotherapy
  • Prone to keloids
  • Currently taking antibiotics or daily pain medication
  • Under 18 years old
  • Heart conditions or hemophilia (often paired with blood-thinning medications)

Possible With Doctor’s Clearance:

  • Diabetes (must be well managed)
  • Severe or multiple allergies

Skin + Brow-Area Considerations:

  • Significant scar tissue in the brow area may not retain pigment well
  • Using Latisse or other growth serums — discontinue 3–6 months prior (these make the skin hypersensitive and prone to heavy bleeding)
  • Previous permanent makeup — may require laser removal or special assessment; always disclose this

Skin Conditions (Face):

  • Eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, or keratosis pilaris in the brow area
  • Chronic acne or rosacea
  • Excessively oily skin (may blur strokes into a powdery look)

These conditions often cause easy bleeding and rapid skin turnover, which prevents pigment from holding properly.

Other Things to Consider:

  • Botox: Ideally microblade before Botox; if you already use Botox, wait 3 weeks after injections.
  • Vacations: Brows need 2 full weeks of healing before sun, sweating, heat, or swimming.

A Final Note

Your healed results depend heavily on the quality and condition of your skin. Some clients with medical conditions or past treatments may still be eligible but may need to adjust expectations. We always prioritize safety and long-term results, and reserve the right to decline treatment if we feel microblading is not in your best interest.

If you have questions about your specific situation, please reach out before booking a consultation.
